The challenges that families face when their own child becomes seriously or life-threateningly ill are immense. Caring for the sick family member takes up all their energy and often extends over many years. In addition to organizing visits to the doctor, daily care and all the worries and fears of the present, it is not uncommon for financial difficulties to arise, as parents are often forced to cut back on their professional activities. Siblings also suffer from the lack of attention.

In this difficult situation, the Caritas children's hospice and family visiting service stands by the families and offers valuable help.

This is the fifth time in a row that Aristo Pharma has supported the Caritas children's hospice and family visiting service. Together, we organize a wish list tree campaign in which seriously ill children and their siblings make wish lists that are hung on the colourfully decorated Christmas tree at Aristo Pharma's Berlin headquarters. This year, we received 28 lovingly designed wish lists from the children, which Aristo Pharma employees fulfilled. From vouchers and dolls to clothes, there were all kinds of wishes.

The gift presentation took place on 13.12.2023 at the Caritas children's hospice and family visiting service in Berlin. At the beginning, the affected families and we were treated to a short story, music and puppet show before the eagerly awaited gift-giving ceremony. The finale: a lovingly organized breakfast and a wonderful exchange between all participants. A morning to remember!
