Medical help on wheels: Aristo Pharma donates to the Caritas mobile medical unit

News Teaser Caritas Spendenübergabe 2025

Since 2016, Aristo Pharma has been actively involved in the Caritas mobile medical centre in Berlin and makes an important contribution to the medical care of homeless people with an annual donation of 10,000 euros.

The Caritas mobile medical unit is a central component of primary and basic medical care for homeless people in Berlin. It is a converted minibus equipped with the most important instruments for immediate care. A team of volunteer doctors, nurses and social workers visit specific locations such as soup kitchens, emergency shelters and railway stations to provide medical assistance on site. Almost 1,800 treatments are carried out each year - and the trend is rising.

However, our employees not only help financially, but also with their personal commitment: This year, a donation campaign brought together a total of 13 removal boxes of warm winter clothing. These valuable donations in kind are distributed to homeless people, women's shelters and clothing stores to support people in need and help them during the cold season.

A special highlight of this year's donation handover was an exclusive production tour at our Advance Pharma production site. The participants were given exciting insights into our work processes and were able to exchange ideas with colleagues.

‘The afternoon together once again emphasised how important the work of the Caritas doctor mobile is and we are delighted to be able to make a small contribution to support it again this year. The commitment - some of it voluntary - of the mobile doctors is so important and makes a difference for people in need,’ says Nele Bertram, Head of Corporate Communications at Aristo Pharma.
